ITINERARY OF MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUERA DAY TRIP
On this day excursion to Essaouira Before 8:00 a.m., you will be picked up from your Marrakech hotel or hostel. We’ll be traveling along the picturesque R207 road, where you may view interesting sights like goats standing on argan trees—perfect for a photo op! In addition, we’ll go to a women’s cooperative to learn about the production of argan oil, which is used in cooking and as a cosmetic.
When you arrive at Essaouira, the wide North Atlantic Ocean will welcome you. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the old town (medina) is surrounded by fortifications and ancient brass cannons. The fusion of old residences and modern eateries creates a distinct ambiance.
Along the beach is a charming promenade that is ideal for swimming and tanning. Remember to include a towel, sunscreen, and swimsuit! We’ll return to Marrakech by 6:00 p.m., so you may take in the sunset as we travel back.
