After a delicious breakfast, we head to Khamlia village, where you can enjoy the authentic rhythms of Gnawa music performed by local musicians. Next, we take an off-the-beaten-path route along unpaved desert tracks, stopping for tea with nomads living in traditional Berber tents. This immersive experience offers a glimpse into their unique way of life, and you’ll also enjoy a lunch of traditional Berber pizza.

In the late afternoon, after some time to relax at the hotel, prepare for an unforgettable camel trek into the heart of the dunes to watch the stunning desert sunset. Upon arrival at the camp, you’ll be greeted with refreshing mint tea and can settle into your comfortable tents, each equipped with a private bathroom and shower. Dinner is served as the campfire comes alive with music from local performers, creating a magical atmosphere under the star-filled Sahara sky.

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking desert sunrise, when the dunes come alive with a stunning display of colors and shadows. After breakfast, enjoy a camel ride back to Merzouga, where you will meet our driver to begin the return journey to Fes.

On the way, we stop at the vibrant traditional market of Rissani. If your visit coincides with a market day—Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday—you’ll experience a colorful array of sights, scents, and sounds. Next, we stop in Erfoud to visit a petrified marble workshop and learn about this fascinating craft. The journey continues across the Middle Atlas Mountains and past the scenic palm groves of the Ziz Valley before returning you safely to your Fes accommodation, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day desert adventure.
